The clients desired an industrial-inspired kitchen that incorporated innovative materials for visual interest while maintaining a streamlined design consistent with the home’s aesthetic.

Design Features

Dark rustic timber veneer
Stainless steel benchtop on the back wall
Concrete-look benchtop on the island
Polished concrete floor throughout the home

Details:

11mm negative detail between the concrete floor and joinery, as well as between the joinery and bulkhead, matching the home's design
Structural walls integrated into the joinery with matching timber veneer
Timber batons on the island add texture and grounding

Functionality:

Seating on one end of the island, away from the work area, makes it ideal for entertaining
A well-stocked bar is concealed behind four bi-fold doors, keeping everything in place
Open shelving in the bar and scullery for cohesive aesthetics and practical storage

Meticulous attention to detail ensured that all elements of the kitchen matched perfectly. The use of varied materials and precise craftsmanship resulted in an industrial kitchen that is both functional and visually stunning. The timber batons, concrete floors, and integrated structural walls created a cohesive and streamlined look. The concealed bar and open shelving in the scullery enhanced practicality, making this kitchen an entertainer's dream.
